My contacts vanished when I updated to lumia cyan

Hi,
There are no contacts on my people list but when anybody calls me the name show up. So, they're somewhere in my phone but I don't know where. When anybody send me a message it doesn't come through. and my calendar events vanished too.

Why should I do? Please answer me

This sounds odd. You should see your list of contact via the people hub. It might be worth double checking your Microsoft account is syncing properly via the accounts section in the settings.

Have you performed a soft reset since you updated? It's always the first thing to try if you have issues after an update.

Theres more filtering options in WP8.1 also.
You might want to see if something got filtered out (I think it defaults to show names with numbers only)
