925 bricked

Yesterday my phone got frozen on a certain screen, so I applied the soft reset. The soft reset was extremely slow, so I applied another soft reset thinking that it will start up faster. I repeated this for several times until a big exclamation mark popped up. Since then, my phone is completely unresponsive and is bricked.
However, today I tried plugging it in to my computer. The computer recognized the device, but as QHSUSB_DLOAD. I did the soft reset while plugged, and a moment later the Home button lit up, but just for about a second. During this, the computer had made some connecting and disconnecting sounds.
As for online methods, I have tried the Nokia Software Recovery Tool, but it said that my phone is not supported. I have tried the Nokia Care Suite, but due to the short connectivity I've just mentioned, the method failed. I also tried to install JTAG, but a .dll file was said to be missing. I bought my Lumia 925 in HK, and my local Nokia Care advised me not to recover it locally. Are there any other ways to revive my phone? A bajillion thanks!!!

Try a Hard Rest... basically the phone is forced to reflash the OS and firmware held in storage (like using Recovery). You lose all data. Hope your backup is good.

Just try a hard reset before you use the recovery tool.
1. Power off the phone.
2. Hold down the power key until the phone vibrates then release.
3. Then hold the volume down toggle until you see the "!" and release.
4. In sequence:
Press and release volume up
Press and release volume down
Press and release power
Finally press and release volume down
Phone should reboot in a few mins. Bypass the setup and restore then try update again.
Basically you're at step 3 of this process, so just continue from there.

Like I've said, I have tried the Nokia Software Recovery Tool, but it said that my phone is not supported. Soft resets only made the Start button light up for a second and go off. It won't vibrate or anything.

So I received the device from Nokia Care in HK with the help of my friend, and I got it back home and plugged it in. The Start button lit on for two seconds and when off. So I plugged it in my computer, and the apocalypse started all over again. I tried the method above, but it kept on installing the QHSUSB_DLOAD of Nokia Emergency Connectivity, which the Lumia Software Recovery Tool did not detect even in "My phone does not start up or respond" mode.
