Lumia 925 of UK can be used in india ?

hello every seniors.. recently my uncle bought a brand new nokia lumia 925 from UK. I guess i will be taking that cellphone as he doesnt want that any more. so my question is.. What type of problems i can face while using a phone used in UK ??

any effort shall be appreciated. thanks

factory unlocked gsm ones can,check basebands to be safe
4G isnt supported because india uses a 2400 baseband for 4G which no windows phone supports yet(infact only nexus 5 supports it so far)

Only unlocked? I thought that even if it's locked it will only use the home carrier's partner in the other country (For example, my locked Lumia 620 is on Virgin here in the UK but works with Bouygues in France).

Well I guess roaming agreements let it work, but they can cost a lot overseas, at least for us in the USA.

Assuming its the unlocked UK model, it will come out when its released in the UK direct from MS/Nokia no matter what.
Will it keep getting updates? Likely, but you can be sure it will get the latest for that model.

you can also flash a country variant 925 ROM and get updates like any indian 925 as well
or stick to UK ROM and get updates when UK gets updates

ive never been able to flash kept getting errors without starting the process but it should be a good idea,no risks and faster updates

Flashing works just fine. I had a kazhak make flashed to Indian version
