Do I lose my contacts if I restore factory settings

Hi I have been having trouble with my Nokia Lumia 625, when I take photos it shuts down my phone. I have been advised to restore the factory settings. My concern is when I do this I will lose all of my telephone contacts and viber contacts. Will I? I have saved all photos and videos to my computer, and I think each contact has been saved through Hotmail but I am not sure.... aaaaaaaggggghhhhhhhh Help... haha

I don't believe WP gives the option to save your contacts locally. Whenever you add a contact, it should ask you what account you want to create that contact under (mine says Hotmail or Google). I usually always save to my Hotmail, so when the phone is restored, you sign into your accounts again and they will all be there. Do remember, much of the time your contacts phone numbers may also just be pulling from Facebook.

Long story short, as long as you sign in to all your accounts again, they will all be there.

From a PC go to hotmail and double check. It should be automatically uploaded to hotmail. (Outlook.com)
