Question about Lumia 1020 Win 8.1 on TMobile

If I get the Lumia 1020 (unlocked NA model) will it be able to receive the 8.1 update if I'm on T-Mobile?

you will receive updates when they're released for the unlocked NA model with no carrier in the way.
Current carrier does not matter.

1520.3 already has 8.1 + Cyan, motion sensor working and will get every advance in upcoming Denim Firmware... 1020 can not use sensorcore features due to the chipset being Last Gen.
