Lumia 920 - Messaging won't work?

Hi guys, I've had this problem for a good few hours now and from what I've searched, no one else has reported this issue. Basically; messaging will work fine until I hit space/backspace. The keyboard will work normally, acknowledging that I'm hitting keys and trying to type, but nothing will come up on the text box. It'll just freeze, but the rest of the phone works perfectly. Like, it's only this very specific, very annoying problem.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? To my knowledge, restarting does Jack and ****.

I'm having the same problem with my 635. Just started a couple of days ago. The keyboard will work for search on Bing and Contacts, but will not work for texting or in Facebook Messenger. I've tried shutting down and powering up and soft reset - no luck. Help us.
