Unlock phone with broken screen? PLEASE HELP D:

So. I broke the screen of my phone, and it isn't responding. Does anyone know if I can somehow make the screen respond? or Is there a way that I can unlock my phone (lumia 520) through my computer (apple)? or Bypass the lock screen password and back it up? I have a couple of photos that haven't backed up that I'd really really like to be able to retrieve!!

Have you tried connecting the phone to the Mac via a USB cable? If that doesn't work then you are stuffed.

Yea I have and it asks for me to unlock my phone
