How do I get rid of emoji?

I use WP because it is not a toy like iPhone. Now they have integrated emoji into the suggestion line in SMS, email, etc. How can I remove this childish stupidity from my phone? Lumia 1520.3 WP 8.1.

Go to options>keyboard>tap your keyboard (English or whatever you use)> uncheck "suggest emoticons".
