Cortana alpha not coming up on my Lumia 1520

Hi guys, I'm based in India, I have tried changing the language, region & speech settings to English(united kingdom), India & English (united kingdom) respectively. On changing the language settings it downloaded an update as well.. Still on pressing the search capacitive button, I'm not getting the Cortana settings or the screen. Am I missing something here. Any suggestions are welcome....

Which OS version are you running? Lumia Cyan or the 8.1 update 1 via dev preview. If I ain't wrong, Cortana alpha will be available to the Indian users with WP 8.1 update 1 with the 'Lumia Denim' firmware. It's isn't yet available with Lumia Cyan or WP 8.1.

Hi thanks for the response. It's windows 8.1 cyan, ver 8.10.12397.895. I haven't deployed the dev preview.....
