I cant dowload maps on my nokia lumia HALP

[WPCentral Question]

I get an almost new windows phone from my mom and decided to give it an soft reset, while dowloading my appsand adding people to my contact list
e see i could download an offline map (wich is nice) first i started dowloading my maps but the celphone decided to update itself and reseted.
After that i couldnt finish the download and everytime i try to download it says that its not possible to connect and i have to try again later.
Should i soft or hard reset it again?

IMPORTANT STUFF:
*Its an nokia lumia 520
*Everytime i try i HAVE WI-FI and it works
*YES my windows is in the latest version
*YES i'm desperated
*Yes i tried HERE apps
*YES i say YES a lot

Hey OP, try a soft reset once or twice and then go for it again
