Is there a fix for inability to send or receive picture messages and group txts?

[WPCentral Question]

I just started using my Windows Phone (Huawei W1). I have straight talk as my carrier. I have spent two hours on the phone with Straight talk making sure my phone was set up correctly and trying all of their trouble shooting. In the end they pointed me back to the manufacturer.
I have seen many questions/forums on this topic but no solutions. Can anyone help?

try using it in battery saver mode. what I think is in battery saver mode background apps dont run and so no image or any media will be downloaded bt this will happen to all the contacts even outside the groups (in separate chats) so when u click on any media which ever u want it will be downloaded and rest will remain intact..
