What is the disadvantage for changing region in Store?

There is some apps I want not available in my region so I'm considering to change it to US (and Cortana as a bonus!). But I use lots of apps from my local region, will they still available to use if I stay in US region? If there are lots of disadvantage please list them up. Thanks.

Changing your region should not effect your apps already downloaded. The only problem I can foresee happening is when updates are being pushed out for apps, you may receive some sooner or later than others. The other thing that could be seen as a negative is that sometimes they're apps that may be free in one region but a paid app in another. So you might find that for apps. Thats the best I can think of to be possible disadvantages of changing your region.

All of my paid apps are just games, hope those expensive games will still available. So I just need to download all local apps I need and then fly away to US region right? Cool. Will try that out once I get back home. Thanks.

No all of your games will be fine whether you change regions or not. As for local apps, I would recommend doing so.
