Why can't I send or receive puctures after the Cyan update?

I can't send or receive puctures after the Cyan update.

I can still receive regular msgs, I have a Nokia Lumia 920, and I have straight talk. This happened after the Cyan update.

Not just straight talk, there are many apps that are not working properly after the cyan update. Apps like WhatsApp, viber, metrotube etc, just uninstall and reinstall the apps, everything will be fine.

you need to change your APN settings (under Messaging) to conform to Straight Talk - they s/b able to furnish those

I haven't installed any new apps since the update, and not sure which ones are new. Still having issues.

You can go for a soft reset.
Or as you are saying you just recently updated to Lumia cyan...you might consider doing a hard reset. It will surely fix all issues but you will loose data saved in your phone. Make a backup of your phone settings app data etc from settings option and then hard reset it. Next time.... When you enter your microst account make sure you check the restored my data option. That's it
