How to solve error 80048264 ? How to reset phone ?

I tried syncing my account.It doesn't work.I forgot my password and was suggested to take up a questionnaire but couldn't answer those questions too. I created a new a new email.But I'm not able to create a new account.I want to reset my phone but don't know how to. Will my contacts be deleted if i reset my phone ?

Arvind... I assume you are in the same position? Unable to log in to Microsoft Account? Unable to reset password through original email address used to establish Microsoft Account?

If so; you have to reset your phone. Anything tied to your original Microsoft Account will be lost - any Apps purchased and anything on your OneDrive storage, for example.

Anything saved in the cloud elsewhere can be recovered. For example, I keep my Contacts and Calendar synced with a Gmail account. By setting that Gmail account back up after a reset I can retrieve that data no matter what Microsoft Account runs the phone.
