Just bought Nokia Lumia 930 Happy with performance but

Yesterday I bought Nokia Lumia 930 I love it except one thing it have terrible battery life so I want to ask is 1520 Same in camera and performance as 930?

First of all, you might have a lot of apps running in background. Try to disable some of them in the Battery Saver.

I did all but still after 10 hour of low use its 42%

It gets better, let everything settle. After a few charges, you should have a battery that lasts approx 20 hours.

I unplug my 1520 at 330 or 4 in the morning and by the time I go to bed around nine at night its still around 70%. The 1520 is a beast when it comes to battery.

It does get better after a few days. I had the 920 before my 930 and the battery life in the 930 is far better!! Also turn off NFC and Bluetooth if your not using it

Also. Reboot after any large amount of app updates. For some apps they stick getting location data. It's helped me alot in the past.

check the 4G option too if your not in a 4G area it will kill the battery looking for the signal its in the mobile +sim & then sim settings

You can turn off 'feedback' too.

Thanks alot guys I know it will get better but on Low usage its 42% almost no usage than if I use it heavily will it last even half day? My phone is on Aeroplane Mode and everything is off.

You should give your phone battery a few days and charges, for it to settle in ! the 1520 battery is the top dog in performance over the 930 but the cameras are the same now.

You are right it only been 2 days

The 930 battery should get you through a day with medium use no bother and heavy use will get a working day (around 8/10hrs) this is based on my own use now !!. have you checked using battery saver app,(every app will be on running with it being new) turning of apps you don't use also turn of NFC and the phone not on looking for 4g if you don't use it now. If the battery doesn't improves in any from what it is at now. Return it for another or 1520.

Also check the Facebook Messenger app. By default, it turns on location services and conveniently forgets to turn it off. Thankfully the app has an option to turn it off and leave it off permanently.

Indeed is strange: My 925 with a tiny 1800mAh battery lasts two days of moderate use. Make sure you update to the latest OS too, and look through the background apps section of the settings - honestly nothing besides things that actively update stuff and the OS should be running.
