Lumia 625 : How do I fix problems in 'Project my Screen' and 'Music'?

Dear Group Members,

I have recently updated my Lumia 625 to Windows 8.1. I am facing 2 problems:

1. I am unable to use 'project my scree' option. I have installed the app on my desktop (which is Windows 7). Though the phone is getting detected but no result on projection. I even tried all the tips posted on this portal on uninstalling the device etc, but no success.

2. 'Music' : after windows update, 'Music' app is not detecting any music stored on my phone. Be it on SD card or phone. I have to download some other available apps to play my songs.

Please help me in these.

1 - Are you using USB or trying to do it via WiFi?

2 - Have you tried uninstalling Music and re-installing it? What format is the music and is it in the Music folder?
