Why can't I open attachments in email from my browser?

can't open attachments in email from browser

I have an email account that does not work on the email app so I always use the browser to access it. The problem is that I can't open attachments in the email from the browser. I recently tried opening a seven page word document and all I got was the first two sentences. There is nothing wrong with the file, it opens just fine on a computer. Is there some kind of setting that I have to change?

Have you tried setting the browser to desktop mode?
