How do I switch my phone back to speaker mode?

Stuck on headphones yet none are plugged in

Tried a power off, power on option. Its still stuck on headphones mode. How do i switch it back to speaker mode?

Have you tried soft reset (pressing power and volume down until u feel a vibration)?
Also maybe the headphone Jack has a bit of dirt inside try cleaning it.

Happened to me also...
This is a bug that is not got the right attention yet....
The solution for this was (discovered by accident...) I have cheap Chinese earphones that its cable has 3 contact plug on one end and in the other side 4 contacts (I guess it is for microphone that doesn't exists in mine) so basically it is shortened inside.
Plugged it int my phone and the problem is gone...

Never really explored the cable but I will check (on vecation now) what is connected where and post it so people could prepare a cable instead of sending it to the lab.

This a bug and not a malfunction in hardware as sometimes customer support saying.

take regular headphones and just plug in and out a few times. See if it releases the switch, they can get dirt or lint caught in there.
