Why didn't my Internet Explorer autocomplete/history delete after I cleared it all?

Internet Explorer autocomplete/history still there

I have Windows Phone 8, I have deleted my Internet Explorer history under settings, deleted temporary storage under settings and did it twice.

When I open up internet explorer and start to type in the address bar within the first 2 letters searches show up that I have done before.

I have deleted what I would think would have taken care of this but yet it remains and I cannot clear it out.

where is coming from and how do I clear my past searches?

I think you have to clear from Cortana or from Bing history.
