What is Lifetime on some old feature phones?

Anyone own a older Motorola v186 flip phone ? The question I have is within the option menus there is an option below "recent calls" called Lifetime and it usually displays, as mine is displaying, 50:XX:XX, what does this mean ?

It means how many hours you've talked on it.

How many hours for the total life of the phone ? Wouldn't recent calls display that ?
