How do i extend my battery life?

Even though i close out of all apps my battery still drains quickly

You can disable some apps running in background using battery saver,turn of location(if you don`t need it,or turn it off for specific apps like messenger,facebook,twitter,turn off wi-fi when you don`t need it,or when using wi-fi turn off data connection,turn off feedback can help as well.

For example are you talking about a phone, or maybe a tablet, if a phone what make, Lumia, HTC, there are several makers of phones that use the Windows Phone OS, what model would come in handy as the battery life on different models can be very different.

How long are you getting, ten minutes, ten hours, ten days.

Even then, there are so many variables, like your settings, usage etc.
