Is Lumia 920 worth it now to buy in oct 2014?

Considering switch to WP from iOS. Is L920 worth? L930 and L1020 is too costly for me

Yes. The 920 is, in many ways, exactly what the iPhone 6 is, when not better (OIS, wireless charging). It has an old chipset, yes. And because of that, the newest firmwares (Cyan, Denim) add absolutely nothing to it. It won't have many of the features the 930 will get because of that.

Overall the 920 is still an amazing phone, even though it's 2 years old. If that's not an issue for you, then go for it. In many ways, the 920 is still better than the 930 (example: the battery of the 930 s*cks big time.)

On your move from iOS to WP, the only thing you'll notice more will be the apps and lacks thereof. On WP, some apps are better than their iOS counterparts. However, in the vast majority of cases, they're worst.

How much is the 920? I got 2 1020s for 349 each unlocked off eBay. Work like a charm and windows phone is awesome.

The 920 is a fine phone. It won't blow away a 930, iPhone 6 or Galaxy S5 in benchmarks anytime soon, but it still performs well, has a solid featureset and has aged rather gracefully in my opinion. Mine is just over a year old, and I'm happy with it still.

Benchmarks are overrated anyways.
