Why can't I download from Windows store via wifi Nokia Lumia 530?

cannot download from windows store via wifi nokia lumia 530

I had purchased lumia 530 last week. I can update all apps through mobile data connectivity. However, via wifi , it always shows pending and retry later. I can open websites and google in lumia, so net connectivity through wifi is active....... and also i synced by outlook account....... however, i cannot download apps via wifi........

any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.........

Make sure the time and date on your phone are correct. Once you know it is correct go into your settings > email+accounts > and long press on your Microsoft account and hit sync. Turn your phone off and then back on again and try again. Please report back if you have any further issues!

thank you for suggestion , i had sync with outlook account............. but still apps downloads shows pending status............

It takes a good amount of time for me as well. Just make sure you have a solid connection. Once it starts going it will zip along. I have the worst experience on my school network but have no issues at home.

Make sure you are not using automatic time and date setting

I had the same problem but i solved it. You should go and delete the saved wifi network you have connected and connect again. :grin:

Hi,

I have a Nokia Lumia 530 with this problem and I resolved this by turning off "Only get updates over Wi-Fi" from Store > Press the 3 dots ... > settings.
Even if I was on wifi , all downloads were put in "pending". Now it works!
