How do I retrieve a lost Microsoft account password?

My Microsoft account password lost after I upgraded my windows phone from windows 8 to 8.1. How can I retrieved it back or get a new password

Go online and try to sign-in at either live or outlook (or whatever you have) and select forgot password. Be sure to have your phone ready, as you'll be texted a new password.
