How do I pin an app to my desk top?

how do i pin an app to my desk top?

I have an HP with windows 8 and I am not very computer literate. I use office360 a lot and it would help a lot if if was on my desk top.

It's 'Desktop' together. Anyway, I don't think you can pin Office, but just the applications included in it. How? Go to all apps view. press a letter, and scroll to the far right until you see Office 365. Then click on one note for example, click open file location and copy all those shortcuts to your desktop.

Or you can right-click and pin them to your Taskbar.
