Not able to install app manually in Lumia 525. Any help?

I tried to install an app which is manually downloaded from my pc and then it is saying unable to install the app, check company... I tried after logging in with my microsoft account in the app store and then download it manually, the problem persists even. Any suggestions, heartily welcomed.

What is the latest firmware on your device? Do you have the ability to transfer the apps to a different SD card to possibly try and install manually with.

You cannot install directly from the .xap file... Store the file in root folder of memory card and go to store.... Tap the three dots below and an option named "install local apps" will appear... Install the apps from there...
