Why has my phone screen cracked?

I had my Nokia Lumia 620 in my pocket and it was fine. Just 2 hours later I got it out and there was a hairline crack which had ruined the touch on my whole screen. Will I be able to get a refund or will I have to pay?

I can't tell you how you cracked it, but it is user inflicted physical damage. User inflicted physical damage is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. You will need to pay for the repair unless you find somebody who wants to help you out.
