How do I take safe search off my Lumia?

When I go on to a youtube link it tells me I cant watch the movie because my phone is on safety mode and i need to turn it off.

That is safe search - settings>applications>search. Change SafeSearch to "Off"

You can also go to your Windows Live account via the MSN page. Go to Settings(Gear in top right) > Privacy > Chang Bing Settings > Safe Search and change the setting to "moderate" or "off"

or maybe the youtube video was flagged and you need to sign in with your Google account?
