Should i get a new phone or wait for windows 10?

Hello,

As the title suggests, i'm about to buy my first windows phone (i currently own a symbian, btw) and i wonder if i should grab one right now or wait for windows 10? I'm worried that my future phone (which will most likely be an unbranded lumia 630) won't be upgradeable to w10
microsoft might also release a new affordable phone with w10 pre-installed in the future which makes things even more complicated for me.

What should i do? buy or wait?

If you don't need a phone at this moment, I would tell you to wait for the announcements. If you can't wait, take your pick. There isn't anything other than speculation that Windows Phone 10 will be any different than WP 8 and incremental updates.

Well, Windows 10 is about a year away... depends on if you can wait that long.
