Why is my Nokia Lumia only typing 1 word then freezing?

When trying to text, my phone types 1 word, a space, then freezes and won't type any more. I've switched it off and taken the battery out. Put it back together, and it's still the same. Help..............

Have you tried using a different keyboard to see if it isn't a problem with the keyboard language that was downloaded?

My Lumia 630 has the same problem: stops after a space in the text. I've already two languages (English and Dutch) on the Keyboard and as 'language'. My partner has the same Phone and languages but no problem.
I've the Phone already since july 2014 with no problem but since yesterday this problem occurs. DId you find a solution for the problem that is mentioned here in October 2014?

We have done 10 soft resets (Volume-down+Power) and found out that putting off word-suggestion solves the problem: we can type again normally. But the spelling check and word suggestion do not work anymore....? Still a problem, but a smaller problem.....

Frans, did you also try "reset suggestions"
Go to settings > keyboard > advanced > reset suggestions

I think this solves the problem. Please let me know if this works.

I had also faced this Problem when I updated my windows Phone lumia 520
I used this below Method its worked but auto suggestions will be Off
Go to Phone settings>Keyboard>tap on language(which is Default to U r Phone)>unchech the box suggest text

I have a Nokia Lumia 530 and I tried the Settings>keyboard>English (or your language)>(unselect) suggest text --- that did the trick!
