My Lumia 800 just stopped working it showed (vodacom) logo and it turned black, why?

my lumia 800 just stopped working it showed (vodacom) logo and it turned black

Chwayi my phone was battery flat and I charged it and I saw that it was showing the VODACOM LOGO and it just went black this happened last night.

How are you checking the status of the charging? Sounds like it is not receiving a charge and only has enough juice to get to that point and then dies. If you are sure you are getting a full charge, sounds like time to make a trip to your local support.
