Xbox OneGuide Chanel filtering

Is there a way to filter channels in OneGuide? I have about 35 channels from my cable provider but OneGuide shows me the ENTIRE list of every channel possible. It gets kind of useless that way without being able to differentiate what I do have and what I don't have.

No there isn't, I've researched it the only work around is to add the channels to your Favorites and use Favorites as your guide

So what is the favourites list if it isn't a filter of the channels, this is exactly how I use it.
