How to activate messanger ?

I have my messanger,but it requires activation via activation code sent to my number,but when I select the country code ( +359 for Bulgaria ) It automatically adds a 0 in the phone number field. And it should not be there,because the country code replaces that 0. And then I dont get the sms with the code to activate it.

Is there some way to activate it from my pc or some other way ?

If you're referring to Whatsapp it would be best to take it up with the app developer or whoever the developer is for this app.

It's obviously an error in the code and it can only be fixed by them.

I am reffering to the Facebook Messenger.
I can still use it,but only if I open the facebook app and open it from there.If I open it from the phone menu or the notification bar it sends me to the confirmation page.
