How do I check a warranty verification?

Warranty verification

I bought a Lumia 1020 in India from flipkart on Saturday 18/10/14 .. I checked the warranty and it said out of warranty in the US. What should i do? I am having a bit of a battery prob as well.

I would contact the vendor. If I'm reading your post correctly you really just bought the phone a few days ago.

The website indicates a 30 day replacement guarantee.

Check in the Indian site. Link Warranty status - Microsoft - India

If you can get it exchanged through flipkart that will be a better option, hassle free and you won't have to wait until you get the phone from service centre.

Like already mentioned. Take it back to shop. Explain the problem and they will refund you or exchange it for a brand new phone
