Why is my ringer and speaker volume so low even though I have it at max volume (Lumia 520)?

Lumia 520 - Ringer and Speaker volume issue

From past two - three days I'm experiencing an issue with the ringer and speaker volume issue where even though its at high volume, I can't hear unless I keep it close to my ears. I did 5-6 switching on and off and one soft reset. Please help.

That might be speaker issue. Go to Nokia care centre they'll replace it.

Actually my warranty is over.. Could you please tell me how much will it cost? for the replacement?
