Windows Central Question
Right now it's 11:41 AM, and my weather last updated at 9:38AM. (To see the last update time, open the weather tile, scroll all the way to the right). The band itself is giving me real-time message notifications (iPhone), so it and the app are definitely aware of each other -- like my Pebble the system components are certainly capable of updating weather data.
My question is: Does the weather data auto sync, either based on time or movement; or instead to update weather do I need to:
1. Pull my phone out of my pocket
2. Unlock it
3. Quit whatever I was previously doing (web, mail, message, etc.)
4. Locate and open the Microsoft Band app
5. Navigate to the band icon on the upper right
6. Initiate sync, wait for update to complete.
7. Go back to Band
8. Open weather app, check current weather, then swipe right to verify that I'm dealing with the most recent weather data.
