how to do a hard reset on a lumia 520?

i have a lumia 520 and the demo took control of the phone somehow and need to do a hard reset to solve the problem thanks

If your phone is Demo Phone (if that's what you mean) hard reset wont help you. It will install the same demo program (os).
Power + Volume Up =Hard Reset

I never used recovery tool and don't know what it can and can't do exactly. So, it might help and might not as well. Why do you have Demo phone anyway?

It's not me... I was suggesting that flashing the factory software should get rid of whatever it is.

I recall someone else in the forums had the same issue with a phone ending up in demo mode, cant for the life of me think how they fixed it but if you look the answer is in our forum somewhere
