How can I get the version of 8.1 for the Verizon Nokia Icon phone that works with the health band?

I have the Nokia Icon from Verizon, which is still on 8.0. I would like to update it so I can use it with the health band. Is that possible?

The Dev Preview doesn't completely do the trick does it? I thought I read that Cyan was necessary to connect to the MS Band. I hope I'm wrong and please tell me if I am.
