Windows Central Question
SBS is a tv station in Australia and they provide a pc site and apps for Devices for viewers to catch up on television shows in Australia.
I noticed that some tv shows are not available on windows phone but are available on other operating systems such as ios. Apparently on enquiry was told that due to rights agreements there are programs called "encrypted programs" that require an extra level of security and some platforms can't provide that security and hence the program is not available on that platform. This apply's to windows phones, windows 8, xbox and some other devices.
What makes windows phone platform less secure than other platforms that apparently disallows windows phone users as compared to other users from having access to these "encrypted programs"?
