Why does my Lumia 1020 keep going into camera mode?

My Lumia 1020 keeps going into camera mode

I can't seem to do anything on my phone without it immediately going into camera mode. I have done a hard reset, a soft reset and reset the camera itself but no matter what I do, my camera keeps popping up like I'm trying to take a picture. It was even popping up while I was sleeping last night, not even on my phone. Anyone have any idea what is going on? :/

No, no case on it. There is no dirt anywhere that I can see and I even pushed the button a few times to make sure it wasn't sticking or broken...

Try doing a complete wipe off and fresh installation of the OS using the Nokia Software recovery tool. If still it gives problems after that then take your phone to the Nokia store if its in warranty.

Please read the instructions thoroughly.
