Why isn't my Htc Windows 8x getting Cortana?

WPCentral Question

I have everything set to US. and my location on. But cortana isn't showing up in my settings?

Have you downloaded the Preview for Developers app? If not, you'll need that. I believe the 8x is only on Verizon, and Verizon hasn't released Windows Phone 8.1 to its users yet.
