Why isn't my Whatsapp working?

whatsapp is not working at all

WhatsApp is shown faded on my windows phone 8.1 (Nokia Lumia 820) its not opening nor on appstore it shows nothing I guess they have withdrawn WhatsApp for windows phone platform or something?

They haven't pulled it from the store. It's on my phone and it's working. I can also find it by searching the store.

Did you do a hard reset or just updated to WP8.1?

Just delete old backup from manage backup and install again ..Now it works perfectly on my Lumia 830

I'm too facing this issue. It just happened on my phone. The icon faded and restarting the phone didn't help.

Same thing has happened to me on my 930. Restarting doesn't help.
