Which one is better of two 925 or 1020?

I already own a lumia 925 and m thinking to switch to lumia 1020. Is it worth. Can anyone let me know will it get win 8.1 also the dev preview etc. and how reliable it is over 925.

I know about its 41 mega pixel camera. But does it really click in that mp.
Also will it be considered a great phone over few next years.

How is battery life of it?

Need some real good advice as i am really confused!

Personally, if you have the 925 I would wait until next year (1020 successor will probably come along given they didn't release one this year) - the 925 and the 1020 basically have the same specs except for the obvious 41MP camera that the 1020 has. If it's a trade for the 1020 and you're not buying one however, I would strongly recommend the 1020. It's still pretty thin, and you'll appreciate the better camera (it is a bit slow sometimes as it's not a fast shooter, but the photos you can get out of this thing are spectacular).

I'm running WP8.1.1 DP at the moment on my 1020, works pretty well. I'm not sure what 925 users have to say about battery life, but mine seems to be doing quite well - with Cortana turned off, I can go from 7am-11pm with medium usage and still have about 30-40% left.

Oh, and about reliability, the camera sometimes has the tendency to lock up sometimes..... it's pretty rare and doesn't happen often, but otherwise it's pretty reliable. Like I said, if you're buying one I wouldn't recommend it, mainly because the specs don't seem too future-proof.

Unless you just have to have a high resolution camera, stick with the 925 for a bit longer. 925 is a very solid performer and 1020 is no more future proof than 925 is (i.e.: leveraging Denim features).

I had a 925 until just about two months ago and the only phone I considered an improvement is the 1520 I eventually bought.
