Why have my Nokia 1520 bottom buttons stoped working (menu, back, search)?

Nokia 1520 bottom buttons stoped working, menu, back, search

the main screen comes on and I can tap to go to another screen or scroll up and down, however once I move off the main screen the bottom buttons don't work to get be out of app or back to home screen.
I have had the phone for over a year and it has been great until yesterday? Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix? Or is it just broke. Haven't dropped it an has been in case since new.

Have you tried a soft reset? If not a hard reset may work (make sure to back up all your data), if it still doesn't work then try Nokia recovery tool. If still no help then its a hardware fault and needs a repair

You can try these things, in this order: Soft reset, hard reset, Nokia Software Recovery Tool and take it in to service.

Remember that with hard reset you will loose all data.

Any drops? I think its a faulty digitizer. Do that the other people says. If you cannot solver the issue you need to replace the digitizer( it means the entire screen).
