I have lots of data in my phone which I'd like to search. On some phones, I also do not have a data plan. How do I tell Bing not to search the web (which takes forever when you don't have a data plan or access to wifi)? Thanks.

Just swipe to the left after making a search and you should see a phone tab with results from your phone. I don't think txt you can make it a default search option.

Thanks. I have a page in OneNote with the keyword 'qwik'. When I search by pressing the search icon in WP8.1 at the bottom of the screen, Bing can't locate it in the phone. Why is that? Just what exactly does Bing search in the phone? Will it search data from apps installed such as OneNote? Bing search is starting to really bug me.

I don't know that search function is damn weird, it seems with every update it gets worse, even my Windows 8.1 PC searches are worst than those of Windows 8!
Personally I would've like a button in the bottom after every search that says I didn't find what I want now search Google. :D
