Why can't I connect to a wifi network from my office on my Lumia 730?

Can't connect to WIFI network from my office on Lumia 730

i followed the step of WIFI connection which was given on lumia help and tips. I enter the ip address but its still does not work. it said your device is not able to connect to this network. Help me please.

When you say 'office' are you referring to work?

If so have you checked with you IT department to see if the WiFi is open or if it needs a certificate? Like my work, you may not be able to connect because your phone OS is not supported.
