Do you mean where it says "We look forward to continuing the Nokia story"? That is hardly conclusive evidence that they are going back to smartphone manufacturing.

MS owns the Lumia name for 10 years. It would be pointless for Nokia to wait that long to use it again. Nokia is it's own company, it is NOT owned by MS. So no, Nokia Lumia branding will NOT return.

It says they are saying goodby to Lumia and MS. They own their mapping services and telecommunications services. They might make phones again but it probably won't be WP. Then again they might not make any.

I sure hope to god they'll be back in the game — the bloody smart phone game. It doesn't matter to me if they come back with Android — they're not going to be granted the Windows patent for free, for all I know.
