How much will it cost to fix the screen on my Lumia 1020?

cracks on lumia 1020 screen as the touch works fine

Just 2 days ago my Lumia 1020 phone slipped from my hand and the screen cracked. I am from Goa India and the nokia care at Margao guy told me that touch panel and glass will be changed and it would cost me around 14500 rs. Although touch is working fine and only glass is cracked. I can't afford so much money now. Is there any way to get this fixed in low cost then please let me know. Thanks.

Two options, either look for the screen on eBay, or get a screen protector so the sharp glass doesn't cut your fingers and just leave it cracked. The choice is yours really.

If you go with the first option, finding a how-to video is relatively easy on YouTube.
