How do I kill apps completely on lumia 822 without restarting phone? Nothing works.

If you are running WP 8 or WP8.1 latest version then long press the back button and then press X or swipe down to close the app.

Windows Phone 8, press the X
Windows Phone 8.1, press the X or swipe downward

Pressing the back button repeatedly only suspends the app, but when suspended, they don't use up many resources (and if the phone requires those resources for something else, it'll close the app itself).
