Why is my battery saver affecting the glance screen?

battery saver affecting glance screen

Last couple of days my Lumia 820 seems to think it's constantly in battery saver mode. I have glance set to always on but it times out after 30 seconds or so and while on displays the battery saver icon. The navigation keys are also not illuminating. Have tried changing glance settings and battery settings, and a soft reset but no joy. Is anyone else having this issue? Has there been an update to either glance or battery saver recently that may have caused this?

Yes. I've noticed the same thing on my Glance screen. I've tried everything and nothing seems to solve it.

I thought it was just me...
